INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TOOL FOR RESCUE RESPONSE PERSONNEL

Problem:

The Maryland Task Force One Team (MDTF1) needed an information management tool to help them organize deployment teams, keep track of which team members are available, and assist in filing paperwork. Team members of MDTF1 (of which there are hundreds) must also be able to mark on a calendar when they are available and provide their contact details and other personal information. Administrators must have full access to all of this information.

MDTF1 also required a way to quickly relay the status information for each member of the force. A runner was required to run from the academy to the command center to update the organizers of the teams on the status of the members of the task force.

Once an incident has occured either a Manager or the Administrator must be able to print out a record of up to the last 10 days of member activity. This identifies all of the hero's of the day!
